I know how it feels to wanna sang and have it BEAT outcha. lol
No for real, I do understand how empty one can feel when their writing becomes a weak cry in your own head. I want to write right NOW and am having the hardest time...pray for me.
I DO however remember the day I stumbled onto this site and read your blog...I remember thinking, wow...I'd be her friend. You're SO cool, Dai...so lovely! :D
"Right angle"?... maybe it would've placed you in a wheelchair and you would been calling me to roll you up to the roof.
Devoid of Purpose + Stagnation = Whole heap of trouble. I agree... creative expression is (personally) the best form of decompressing.
I'll just point out (as a TOTAL stranger)... venting/expressing or projecting is excellent, but if the initially problem or aggravation is not dealt with... one might find themselves in a very familiar loop.
Geez, it's been a WHOLE Year since you started this thing? Goodness greef! This is too much for a Thursday. Who knew you started on St. Pattys day too, but I'm proud. You inspired me to write (Which I didn't do a very good job of keeping up with) But the urge to write has never left me. And I thank you. ^^ Congrats and Happy Anniversary ALovelyDai.Com XD
i cried- its soooooo important to write and itsm a shame i was so blasted by one individual that made me stop what I love doing so much as my craft! Glad I'm baaaaaack! Dai your vid was so wonderful- what you touched on is only something writers would understand, poets, songwriters, all that... you got this! You said something that really struck a nerve with me and that was the part about you realizing through one of your first blogs, the residue and internal conflict when you internalize situations and don't have an emotional outlet. Your friends and girls can only do so much. I used to write, paint and dance and I remember that being at a time where I was in a really uncomfortable situation that required me to not go insane. I appreciate you. Keep writing!
Happy anniversary, and I wish you many more. Your video was great. So personal and yet everyone, especially artists and writers in particular can reaily identify with its universality. Dai, you rock!
Lots of excellent reading here, many thanks! I had been looking on yahoo when I identified your submit, I’m going to add your feed to Google Reader, I look forward to a lot more from you.
